Scuba Alux
Meet Mimi
Mimi is the lead instructor at Scuba Alux and the face of a dive center built on passion, high standards and many hours underwater.
Her international experience combines training in the Mediterranean, liveaboards in Egypt, Sudan and the Maldives, deep diving, current diving, cenotes and cave specialization. Every destination left something with her: a technique, a safety protocol, a way of reading the sea… and all of that is what she now shares with every diver who comes to Scuba Alux.
A life underwater
Mimi started in recreational diving and gradually moved into technical diving, eventually specializing in caves, one of the most demanding disciplines in the world. That same progression is what now guides her students: first comfort and safety, then technique, and only when both are solid, depth and more complex environments.
