At Scuba Alux we are a dive center dedicated to diving in all its forms: recreational, technical —deep and cave— and rebreather diving.

We offer experiences and training for all levels. At Scuba Alux, we take care of every detail, from the maintenance of our equipment to the lunches between dives, and we help you as much as possible when organizing your trip to the Riviera Maya.

We are known for personalized service and a wide range of activities in and out of the water to help you plan an unforgettable vacation.

Our Facilities

Our dive center is located in Playa del Carmen.

We have a CLASSROOM, EQUIPMENT RENTAL area, EQUIPMENT STORAGE area, RINSING/DRYING area, WORKSHOP for equipment maintenance, RESTROOMS, and everything our clients need to feel comfortable.

At Scuba Alux, we work with small groups because we believe diving is better when every person receives the time, attention and safety they need. This is not a marketing phrase: it is the way Mimi has chosen to run her dive center.

You can feel that in the water, but also outside of it: we help you plan the right type of dive for your level, advise you on cenotes and combinations, support you with trip logistics, and make sure the lunch between dives lives up to the rest of the experience.

Mimi, Scuba Alux’s lead instructor, has an international background combining training in the Mediterranean, liveaboard experience in Egypt, Sudan and the Maldives, deep diving, current diving, cenotes and cave specialization.
